Zhu Ye is a rare dancong oolong tea produced from 150 year old trees. This tea is called Zhu Ye, or bamboo leaf, because of its spindly long green leaves. The taste is creamy, and sweet with notes of honey and flowers. It's a perfect tea for those who want to enjoy a complex and rich flavor.
Gong Fu Brewing:
Tea: 5 grams per 4 ounces of water
Water temperature: 195°F - 90°C
Infusion length: 25 Seconds. May be infused 4-6 additional times.
Western Brewing:
Tea: 2 grams per 4 ounces of water
Water temperature: 195°F - 90°C
Infusion length: 2 minutes. May be infused 4-6 additional times.
