Loose Leaf White Tea

White tea is a slightly fermented tea, and refers to several styles of tea produced from minimally processed Camellia sinensis leaves. Most white teas are not rolled or oxidized, resulting in a flavor that is lighter than most green or traditional black teas. Despite its name, brewed white tea has a pale yellow liquor color. The name is derived from the appearance of silvery-white hairs on unopened buds of the tea plant.
