White Peony tea is made from harvested buds and two young leaves, and is considered of superior quality in white teas. White peony tea is one of the top ten most well-known teas of China. Fuding County of Fujian Province is the hometown of white peony tea. The tea leaves, covered with white downy hair, look like white peony flowers. Once they are infused, the green leaves set off the tender buds, which resembles the blooming of a peony, graceful and elegant. The liquor is clear and takes on apricot-yellow color, and the taste is mellow and fresh.
