Rou Gui oolong tea is a distinct variety that has been translated from Chinese words for ‘cinnamon’, but this does not mean what it seems to us Westerners. It's not about taste or smell - rather Rou Gui contains elements that are both dry and woody in nature with an underlying floral sweetness brought out by flavors found in citrus. These flavors and aromatics give these teas their signature aroma you can't help but notice when brewing them! This Rou Gui was produced in Chaozhou, China which is rare in comparison to the very popular Shui Xian cultivar the area is known for. Enjoy this artisan handcrafted tea, it's sure to delight your senses.
