Kukicha is a green tea traditionally produced in Japan, by blending the harvested young leaves, and stems during the refining process of sencha tea. Kukicha has less bitterness than Sencha and has a refreshing sweet flavor and wonderful aroma. It is lower in caffeine ad has a higher concentration of L-theanine compared to other loose leaf green teas.
